Paul was born in Maxie, Virginia, in February 1938 and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated from Norview High School and later earned his master's degree from Rollins College. In October 1988, he married Joan Barker.
Paul served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Independence and launched his professional career with IBM in 1966. After retiring, he embarked on a second successful career in real estate with Coldwell Banker.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Paul and Terri; his stepchildren, Adam, Scott, Robin and Shannon; his grandchildren, Kayla, Rachael, Nolan, Keagen and Donovan; his sister, Martha; and his brother, Robert.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, March 29, 2025, at Baldwin Fairchild, Conway Chapel located at 1413 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, Florida 32807.
