

Rafael Cadiz, age 75, of Hunters Creek, Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. He was born on September 23, 1950, in Pimentel, Dominican Republic, to his beloved parents, Migdalia Altagracia Cadiz and Alfredo Cadiz.
Rafael lived a life defined by dedication, resilience, and deep love for his family. In 1976, he traveled to the United States as a representative of the Dominican Republic’s national ping-pong team—an achievement that reflected both his talent and determination. What began as a journey for sport became the foundation for a lifetime in the U.S., where he planted roots and built a strong, loving family.
Professionally, Rafael worked as a route messenger driver, where his leadership qualities quickly emerged. He became a respected shop steward within his company and was a proud member of the Teamsters union 804. His work ethic and commitment earned him admiration from colleagues and peers alike.
Rafael was a pillar of strength for his family—a role that cannot and will not be replaced. His love was immeasurable, steady, and unconditional. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and intelligence, as well as his ability to bring warmth and laughter to those around him.
Outside of work, Rafael had a deep appreciation for life’s simple and creative pleasures. He enjoyed cars, art, photography, reading, and writing, including working on screenplays. Above all, he cherished time with his family, who were the center of his world.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, and his children: Cadizle, Jason, Cadiza, Alfredo, Raphael and 9 grandchildren. His legacy lives on through them and through the countless lives he touched.
Rafael Cadiz will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
