Ralph Jackson Jones, 83, of Orlando, passed away July 12, 2014. Born in Hartwell, GA on April 24, 1931 to Irwin and Ella Jones. He was raised in Winter Garden and moved to Orlando in 1954. Ralph was employed by Orange County Property Appraiser’s Office for 32 years. Ralph is survived by his wife Norma Jean of 59 years; son, Keith, daughter-in-law, Chris; 6 grandchildren, Tommy, Jennifer, Kimberly, Bryan, Jessyca, and Rachel; and 4 great grandchildren, Alea, Elijah, Evan and Dalton. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Irma and Rosalee; 2 sons, Mark and Craig and 1 great grandson Ethan. Ralph’s hobby was woodworking and building furniture for friends and family. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 19 at 11am with Pastor Mike Brewer and Brother John Boone officiating at Baldwin Fairchild Ivanhoe Chapel, 301 NE Ivanhoe, Blvd., Orlando. Visitation for friends will be held from 10am till time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church in Apopka or a favorite charity in Ralph’s name.
