

Rhoda went to be with the Lord on July 14 at her home in Celebration, Florida, of natural causes.
The memorial service will be officiated by Reverend Gregg Heinsch and Reverend Christopher Lent.
Rhoda was the devoted wife of Sidney Ruby, who went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2007, and the loving mother of Gayle Ruby, Dale Ruby, and Mark Ruby.
Rhoda graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, New Jersey, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Sidney Ruby. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where they welcomed their three children. They later settled in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where they lived for more than 25 years.
While in Cherry Hill, Rhoda served as a teacher’s assistant with the Cherry Hill School District for more than 15 years. She also pursued her passion for writing as a journalist, authoring a weekly column for the Cherry Hill newspaper.
In 1999, Sid and Rhoda moved to Celebration, Florida. Rhoda fulfilled a lifelong dream by working at Walt Disney World for more than 20 years before retiring and moving to Windsor at Celebration.
Rhoda was an active member of Celebration Community Church and enjoyed singing as a member of the Windsor Glee Club. She was well known throughout the Celebration community as a generous, loyal, and caring friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
