Richard O. "Dick" Winterling passed away on February 5, 2017. He was born in Pine Beach, NJ, on June 9, 1933. His family moved to Jacksonville, FL, in 1941 and he graduated from Robert E. Lee H.S. in 1951. He served in the Air Force retiring in 1971 as a Senior Master Sergeant, he worked for the Orlando Post Office retiring in 1997 to care for his wife of 50 years Joan P. Winterling who suffered a stroke in 1996. He cared for her for 15 years and she passed away on February 10, 2011. He is survived by his Brother George Winterling of Jacksonville, FL; daughters of his of wife Elizabeth C. McCarthy-Fores of Pleasant Hill, CA, and Wini M. O'Brien of Prattville, AL. He is also survived by his caring and loving friend Shannon Sylvain of Orlando. He was a member of Mokanna Lodge 329, Orlando Scottish Rite, Orlando York Rite, and Bahia Shiners in Orlando. He enjoyed many years of service to those organizations since 1971.
