

Bob Blackwood, age 77, passed away on May 29, 2011. He was born in Orlando on December 1, 1933 to Herman and Dorothea Blackwood. Bob is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons and their spouses, Bob, Jr. and Jennifer, David and Debra; five beautiful grandchildren, Emily, Angelina, Warren, Lydia and Lila; sister, Patricia. Bob was in the first graduating class of Edgewater High School. While attending the University of Florida, he co-oped at the Nevada Atomic Proving Grounds. He served four years in the Navy on a mine sweeper in the Pacific. Bob retired from Lockheed Martin after 30 years as a microwave engineer. Bob loved to sing and was a member of S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.. He sang in several champioship quartets and choruses and in the Trinity Men's Choir. Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 123 E. Livingston at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2011. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran School or St. Luke's Lutheran High School Fund.
