Roberta “June” Longo passed away on September 15, 2012 in Orlando, Florida succumbing to her battle with Alzheimer’s disease. June, age 80, was born in Wetmore, Kansas and spent most of her adult life in Omaha, Nebraska.
June was married to Carmen “CD” Longo, Retired USAF CMSGT, who preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by Son Jeff Longo, Daughter-in-Law Cheryl Longo, and Granddaughters Katie, Allie and Lauren Longo all of Orlando, Florida, Son Keith Longo, Daughter-in-Law Shirley Longo, Granddaughter Liane Longo, and Great Granddaughters Skye and Paige Longo all of Warrenville, Illinois; Brothers Dean Horner and Jack Horner both of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Sister and Brother-in-Law Wilma and Ronnie Anderson of Holton, Kansas, and Brother and Sister-in-Law Jim and Bonnie Bland of Rawlins, Wyoming.
The family is requesting any gestures in June’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
