Aunt Sharon was the youngest of all My Mothers (Marilyn Buyers’ Matthies) Siblings. 
She became a school teacher and was my third grade teacher. It was great having your Aunt teach your class. All my classmates loved her. She was funny and so intelligent. She had the best handwriting which I loved. She moved to Orlando , Fl with her three children from her first marriage. Sheila, Andy and Molly. Aunt Sharon showed our family all the best places to visit and of course the best places to eat and shop. We loved going to Disney World. It helped she knew all the in’s and out’s of how to get around . I believe Aunt Sharon & Aunt Jeanine introduced us ( Myself, Susan, Jean, and my Mother) to the first and sworn to be the best Cuban Sandwich! I haven’t had one since the first time (1975) only because why try them anyplace else one you’ve had the best!   ; ) 

Sharon was such a lovely women, we will all miss her so much, she was such a joy to be with & always made us laugh. We had the pleasure of her staying with us in the u.k. She's now at peace.god bless Sharon. We will never forget you.

It saddens me to know that are gone but it comforts me to know that you are no longer suffering and now have peace.  You were part of my childhood and for that I am grateful.  You will be missed.

Memories of our families gathering for a day at the lake. Happy times listening to her beautiful sense of humor. Love for family and friends. This beautiful soul will truly be missed but our memories of her will be with all of those she touched.

I will miss her so very much. She was a dear dear friend and we used to have some fun and crazy times together. We traveled to England & Ireland together and we had such good times there.I am going to miss you Sharon.

When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Your happy face will be missed.

You were the only person that could best me in sarcasm. I love and miss you. Till we meet again.

Sharon's sense of humor bought joy and much laughter to the children and their parents, but especially to the staff at Good shepherd School. It was an honor working with her. Sharon will be missed!

I met Sharon at the FL Hospital Cancer Institute where we both were patients on the 8th Floor. She was quite a character and you were lucky if you had the chair next to her during chemo. She always had great stories to tell, advice to give, and best of all, she would leave you laughing. She loved her husband and family very much. I know she will be missed. May God bless all of you.

My family and I were deeply saddened.  She taught our daughter for two grades at Good Shepherd. 
I will forever remember her big smile, when I would pick up my daughter from her class... We know that she will be our Angel now ,until we meet again...

Over the many years of Sharon's teaching career at Good Shepherd Catholic School those who knew Sharon enjoyed her great wit and kindness to all.  As her principal I watched her reach out to embrace many children.  She gave them a gift of respect for themselves and a teacher to talk to if they had a problem.
Her love for her family was stronger than any need she ever had.  They always came first. As Bob and the children grieve the loss of their greatest cheerleader, may the prayers of all those who love Sharon bring them peace and comfort.

Sharon was my cousin on my mothers side. Sad to hear of her passing . My sister Nancy let me know Sharon had passed. My sympathy to all her family.
