Sylvia Elaine Gray

Sylvia/Sylvie/Aunt Sylvie/Sis/Mom was born in Pine Castle, Florida on July 5, 1931 to the forever beloved, Mary Ella Macy.

Sylvia graduated from Pine Castle Junior High School and received her high school GED and higher education subsequently.

She was married to John Warren Gray, Jr. on June 15, 1947.

Sylvia worked in a variety of occupations but focused on raising her children.

She was a member of the St. Charles parish, Orlando VFW, and various other religious and civic organizations, but reserved her greatest energy and passion for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Warren and is survived by their three sons, John Gray, III, Charles Gray, Paul Gray and her four sisters, Alice Morgan, Caroline McIntyre, Martha Drawdy and Sharon Pintoran.

A memorial "Celebration of Life" service will be held at 10:00 AM on February 12, 2026, at Baldwin Fairchild Conway Chapel, 1413 South Semoran Boulevard, Orlando, Florida 32807. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, Florida 32789.
