She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 30, 1934, and graduated from Visitation High School.
Therese married James (Jim) O’Connor on May 11, 1957. Soon afterward, they moved to Ireland, where they raised their family. In 1985, they returned to the United States and eventually settled in Florida, where they both enjoyed long careers with Disney World.
Therese had a passion for writing poetry, reading romance novels, watching movies, and, most of all, spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; her grandson, Sean Mulvaney; her brothers, Timothy (Mary) Broderick, Neil (Jeanne) Broderick, and Michael Broderick; and her parents, John and Mary Broderick.
Therese is survived by her children, Michael O’Connor, Kathy (Daisy) Day, Mary (Philip) Mullen, and Jimmy O’Connor; her grandchildren, Dillon (Nicole) Mulvaney, Sinead Mulvaney, and Erin (Cameron) Marshall; her great-grandson, Max Marshall; her sister-in-law, Barbara Broderick; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was loved by all. 💚
