Celebrated you yesterday on what would have been your 57th Birthday.  A day doesn't go by that I don't think of you and smile at the same time over a silly joke only you and I would understand  Working in my garden today and blasting Bruce off the back deck. I am sure the tree I planted for you sways a little more when Bruce is singing.

I expected that today would be a big day of remembrance but I think of you every day. Whether its sports, music or coming across photos of the times we shared as we both moved through the decades it makes me pause and smile. I miss those laughing fits that we could not control most of all. Miss you buddy and always will.

Little Brother,

I planted a beautiful Japanese Maple Tree in the backyard for you last week right next to the pond and waterfall. It is big and vibrant just like you were and reminds me of the tree we both loved at the house in NY where we took a family photo in 1984 with you, me, Pat, Bob and John.  And that same tree that became Amanda's favorite climbing tree and she was afraid you would break the limb that was her favorite perch!  So I will imagine you hanging out here with us as we watch it grow up to the sky and reach for the heavens.

I visited with TJ last month and got to see a few of his Freedom HS games.  He is a good pitcher and demonstrates great team spirit and sportmanship - something that he learned from you. He is supported by his team, coaches and the other parents who all miss you - Big Tom - standing by the fence chatting up the coaches, cheering on the team and bantering with anyone who wanted to talk baseball!  

TJ misses you, but you know that as you watch over him, and we will all be here for him always and keep your memory alive for him.  He is coming up to the Cape in July to hang out with Amanda, Jimmy and the boys - so fishing, swimming and Firebirds baseball games are in the plan and we will go down to NY and visit with other family as well.

I still can't believe you are gone - so many days I think I am going to hear your voice on the phone or imagine you on the front porch or at the beach enjoying the ocean and us just laughing over silly things and great memories.

Little Brother 

A day does not go by that I think of you and what you might say about something going on in our lives.  What you would have laughed at with me or when we could both talk about something troubling us.  Yesterday was another one of those special days that was harder to get through because it was Amanda's birthday. I was with TJ on his birthday in Orlando last month and I am sure you know he misses you so much and I am going back next month to visit and see him pitch for his HS team.  And I will imagine you sitting right there with us watching his every move and coaching him through each game.

We spent the week up at the Cape with the boys. It was really difficult not to have you there. At one point t I almost asked mom where you were in the morning, thinking you went for a walk. We took Tj on a fishing charter and he caught some huge fish!  You would so proud of him. This week he will be staying at my house in Ny. I wish you were here too. Today is your Birthday. Happy Birthday. I wish you were here to celebrate. TJ will be up here with us soon, I can't wait to see him. I'm going to miss you up at the Cape this year.  You sitting on moms front porch in the morning with the cool breeze and sounds of your voice echoing through the windows is something that will always stay with me. It has been almost 4 weeks and I still can not believe that you are gone. I miss your smile and your warm sense of humor. TJ is playing travel ball with BPA.  He has been doing great. In his first game he pitched awesome...I know it was because you were there with him..& he knew it. I promise to take care of him the way you did everyday.  We love you..Joanna and TJ

Thomas it has been three weeks since you are gone and we are all doing our best to share all the good memories and great family times we had with you.  Please know that we are all taking good care of TJ and Joanna and he will be up here at the Cape in a few weeks and will be loved and taken care of by me, Amanda and Jimmy.  He is gong fishing, sailing, to Firebird games, the beach, to Mandy's for ice cream and trips to Boston and NYC -- all of the things we enjoyed doing together with you.  I miss you little brother and will continue to celebrate your life everyday and especially next week June 9th on your birthday.

Tom, you were Matthew's first coach. You were the one who made him love baseball as much as he does now. Our family will always remember that. The world has lost a good man. Rest peacefully my friend.

We are so sad about Tom's passing. He was a great friend to us, an encouraging coach to our son, and a much loved leader in our community.  We will never forget his huge heart and smile. Tom was always up for a laugh and loved being around the kids, even the ones way younger than TJ. His memory will live on in HC because of the impact he had on us all. RIP Big Tom.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Tom at The Fountainbleau..We are saddened and stunned..Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family. He was a great guy

We will miss our Saturday mornings with Tom on the softball field. Even though we moved away, we always knew when we visited Orlando that we would see him. Our hearts are with his son TJ and all of Tom's family. We will miss you big guy!

During our time working together at the Caribe Royale, Thomas was always a "larger than life" person with a huge heart. Thomas was always friendly to everyone he interacted with and treated everyone with respect. Thomas was a great human being and will be deeply missed. I love you so much. Saying goodbye to you today is going to be one of the most difficult things I have done in my life. You were there for me when I needed a father, you danced with me as a father daughter dance to American pie at my wedding three years ago. I will never forget that. Rest in peace my Big Nudge. Since I know Tom at WDW Swan and Dolphin, has Manager at Bell stand. I have notice him he always smile and always helpful.

And when he became Assistant Director of Security complex it was great to work with him and was still same person has I seen him first time.

We have not seen Tom for many years, but have great memories of his quick laugh and big smile, and were deeply saddened to hear this news. Prayers for healing sent to Joanna and the rest of his family and friends.

I don't  know what to say I still can't believe your gone Tom. I was just thinking about all the times we talk at T. J games at Freedom, you meeting my family a year ago at the ale house and me and you just talking about football and other things. You were an amazing man and father I would say, you always gave encouragement when Justin struggled at the game, to me it was an honor to meet you and TJ which I had the opportunity to coach during the all Stars game. Your family will always be in our thoughts and prayers may you RIP.
