Thomas Daniel Crowley

Thomas Daniel Crowley, passed away on the morning of July 10, 2016, after battling a variety things following a fall 1 1/2 years ago. He was survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Dolores, 3 sons; Mike, Randy & Steve, 2 daughters-in-law; Kate, Lisa, 7 grand kids, Andrew, Meg, Patrick, Sean, Mary Katherine, Alex, Kelly and his younger brother Dan. He was preceded by his brother James. Tom also had 2 nieces and 2 nephews and all of their children and grand children that he was extremely close with.

Tom served in the army and drove a tank in Korea, came home and worked at Commonwealth Edison until he retired to Florida in the late 80s with his wife and mother-in-law. He spent his retirement making multiple trips to the Dominican Republic to build houses with his church group, as well as doing volunteer work locally. He also loved playing Santa Claus at Christmas, through out the community.His hobbies included riding his Honda Goldwing with friends, bicycling and afternoon get togethers with the neighbors for tea. Tom enjoyed life and his family and will be missed by all that knew him. Their will be services in Florida and Chicago for him.
