Denise (and family),
First let me say what you already know - I love you my friend and I am so very sorry for your loss.
I spent the last 30 minutes looking at all the photos posted here and the one thing that I came away with was this: Wildman Rick Fischer LIVED every day that he lived...and you were part of it! What an adventure of a life you two created! I hope all of these amazing memories sustain you in the dark moments. There is so much joy in those photos and no doubt they reflect all the joy you hold in your heart for this one of a kind man.
He embraced life and I'm sure he is making his unique presence known up above the clouds.
Also - You put together a TRUE celebration of life for him - one like I have never been part of before. I know he must've been smiling down on it all - You rocked it! It was perfect.

I love you ! (((Hugs)))

Wildman was always an easy going spirit. My favorite memories are when we all rode. Getting together for breakfast and spending the day and into the night riding.
I'm so sorry for your loss Denise and I'm sorry I couldn't be there on Friday. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you girlfriend.

Dear Denise,

My deepest sympathy at the loss of “Wildman”. He was the highlight of my day (night) in express when he would bring our working mail and share some funny or quirky comment on management! I admit I did not know him well, but my heart and prayers are with you.

Rick, I sometimes wondered what drew you and I together as friends. We lived such different lives. You were a fishin', truck drivin', hog ridin', four wheelin', whiskey drinkin' country boy. I was a buttoned down collared shirt, sedan driving, Guinness drinking, Irish city boy. It wasn't just that we worked together for 30 years and had some of the same circle of friends. It wasn't just that we enjoyed a lot of the same music and partying together. It wasn't just that we were both family driven proud fathers. It was so much more. That no nonsense, in your face honest, genuinely caring attitude is why I am proud to call you more than just my friend. I love you my brother! 💔 ...Ed Conlin
