Bill was one of the most honorable men I ever worked with.  Tough exterior but a heart of gold.  I'll never forget him telling me "there's no crying in construction".   Bill changed the trajectory of my career and I'll be forever grateful for his encouragement and support.    I called him about a year ago to tell him how much I appreciated everything he did for me.

A wonderful man, of high moral and ethical values. Bill was a person of great integrity and admired by all who had the pleasure of working with him. Incredibly smart, very professional in his approach to business. We co-conspired to sell and buy businesses, we created strategic alliances, and worked together for almost 20 years. He loved his family. I was so fortunate to have lunch with him a year ago with another former associate. He will be missed.
