Art was on the board of Directors of Guardian when I joined Guardian . He was always so gracious and helpful to me and our Profit center. He will be remembered, along with Jack Smith, for negotiating that wonderful joint venture between Guardian and Baillie Gifford funds of Edinburgh Scotland .

Arthur, you are one of the kindest, most. loving and generous man I have ever met. You once told me some people in this world were lucky and some were not and you considered yourself a lucky one. Well I am telling you, we are the lucky ones. When you became part of the Nichols family, you touched all of us and gave a part of your self to everyone RIP my dear brother-in-law. Love You. Colleen
