Bambi (Fulcher) White, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and sun worshiper died on May 24 at the age of 64. She passed unexpectedly after a recent cancer diagnosis. She passed peacefully, surrounded with by her husband and two children.
A lifelong “Cape Codder”, Bambi grew up in Orleans and on the shores of Nauset Beach. After graduation from Cape Cod Tech she worked as a hairdresser. She found her true calling later in life when she began caring for the elderly. Her patience, care and compassion were unmatched. Bambi was with families on their worst days, easing pains and frustrations.
Bambi was married to Mark for over 30 years. Those years were spent traveling, concert going and doting on their ever-increasing brood of grandchildren.
Bambi enjoyed long days on the beach, the saltwater and her feet in the sand filled her with happiness. She loved watching the sunrise on the beach with her cousin Lori and spent countless hours searching for sea glass. She was the most loyal of friends. Together they camped, shopped, traveled and most importantly laughed a lot.
Bambi is survived by her husband Mark White and her two children Mandy and Kevin Martin, whom she would do anything for. She was also a beloved step mother to Jenny, Jacob and Lindsey White. She and Mark were blessed 11 grandchildren, Daniel, Charlotte, Max, Kellen, William, Brooke, Carter, Grayson, Jackson, Georgie and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents Robley Fulcher and Lois Wittman, her brother Rodney Fulcher and soul-sister Kathie McPherson. She will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
A Celebration of Life Visitation for Bambi will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA 02653.
