Barbara was such a class act. I met here as the Director of Nursing for the Department of Health in Greenwich in 1987, as I was re-entering the nursing field after a 7 year hiatus of having my last 2 children. Barbara was such a wonderful coach, administrator and compassionate person. She over saw my being a school nurse for over 1000 students, a totally foreign field to me at the time. She was always available, ran the busiest Department and mentored many members to excel in their positions and advance into leadership roles as she, and others, retired. It was a pure pleasure to know Barbara and I am so sorry she is gone so soon. She was too young, as all of her peers are. Rest in Peace.

I was saddened to hear about the loss of my classmate at SFH School of Nursing.... she had such an extraordinary career in nursing and her obituary highlights her devotion to her family.. Keeping her in my prayers.
