My first memory of Burt was at the East Orleans house. It was a great memory because I would go over and work out with Mark and Mike during the summertime and Burt would be hanging poolside reading reports and smoking a cigar. The good memories we had where of us getting ready to go out and have fun on the Cape. Burt always had words of wisdom before we went out and you could tell he really cared about the boys that were with his sons. He made us feel like one off the family! He will be missed greatly . Mark,Mike, David and Rebecca please reach out if you need anything. Jack still

I was so sad to hear of Burt‘s passing. Condolences from my family to all of your family.

Burt was such a gentleman. He was so kind, charismatic, and extremely generous. And what a love for family did he have.

Every time I saw Burt during his visits to Chicago he always wanted to hear all about my life and what I had been up to. I remember taking him for hotdogs in Highland Park in Marvin’s car.

My Mom, Marylou adored him. What a wonderful man.

Burton has been a part of my life for many decades. Myself but also my family has seen the joy he gave to all in all these years. He lived his life to the fullest and on his own terms.
We are not all able to achieve all he gave, all he did and all the positive memories as well as incredible families he created and was a part of.
