Born in Englewood, New Jersey in 1930 and youngest daughter to Verna Viola Butzer and William Raymond Loveless and the sister of the late William Loveless, the late Ruth Loveless, and Margaret Browne. She attended Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, New Jersey and went to college in Bethlehem, New Jersey.
Byrdie and Jim were married for 39 years and left behind three children, William Jackson, Christine Gratz, and Katharine Jackson. Her Grandchildren, Sarah Gupta, Lee Gratz, Andrea Szarowicz, Amy Robertson, and Jimmy Jackson. Her Great Grandchildren, Owen Gratz, Nora Gupta, Meena Gupta, Harper Gratz, Michael Szarowicz II, and Casen Robertson.
She was very active in the Union Congregational church of East Walpole before moving to Orleans, Massachusetts in 1987. She participated in the church choir, was a girl scout leader, played bridge, and was an avid gardener.
She had many good friends including, The Amero Family, The Conti Family, Jean Baker, Ming, Podgie Weissant, The Bossi’s, Durgins’, and many more.
The family would also like to thank Lighthouse Home Health Care and the Home Health Care workers of Amada Senior Care, especially Marlene.
