Carol Foresman

Born March 29, 1935 in Hanover, PA, she was the middle child of three girls.

She attended Middlebury College, VT, graduating as an English major. She married Robert Yates Foresman, from Albany, NY, after a courtship stemming from a blind date. They lived in the Albany, NY area for 26 years, raising four children: Jennifer Foresman (Saratoga, NY), Linda Vanderburgh (Wayland, MA), Peter Foresman (Pembroke, MA) and Molly Foresman (Wayland, MA). She was the proud grandmother of nine, from ages 9 to 21.

She and Robert moved year-round to Cape Cod in 1990. They were married for 35 years until Robert's passing in 1992.

She is also survived by one sister, Sally Bock of Philipsburg, PA, and her longtime companion, John Faulkner of Orleans, MA.

A memorial service will be held at the Brewster Baptist Church, Brewster, MA Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at 1 p.m.
