Concetta Eleanor Delfino

Eleanor was born in Rockland, Maine on Sept 22, 1909 to Maria (Giannamore) and Pasquale D'Aniello and had five siblings, Pat, Antoinette, Vincent, Nicholas, and Lucy. Eleanor lived in Rockland during her early youth and then lived in Barre, VT with her sister where she attended and graduated from Goddard College. She worked as an accountant for the Scovill Manufacturing Company in Waterbury, CT for twenty years.

Enjoying fifty years together, she and her husband, Francis, were married Feb. 16, 1942 and had two children. After raising her children, Eleanor was employed by G. Fox and Co. in Waterbury for over twenty years as a sales associate, accumulating awards and accolades throughout her career.

She is survived by her son, Francis of Broadbrook, CT and her daughter, Linda of North Eastham, MA, a loving niece, Pamela Bartolomeo, three grandchildren, Jared, Anthony and Andrew, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services in Waterbury are on Tuesday July 26th at 10:30 AM from the Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow Street Waterbury to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 South Main Street for a Mass at 11:00 AM.
