ORLEANS – David “Dave” A. Risch, 68, passed away on July 11, 2012 at the Cape Cod Hospital. He leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Roberta “Bert” (Small). David was born in Norwood, MA and was the son of the late Siegfried and Eleanor (Sanborn) Risch.
He was a conservationist and lover of wildlife. He worked for 30 years as the conservation manager for the Town of Foxboro.
Besides his wife he is survived by his son Ben Small; daughter, Jessica Berger; 2 grandchildren; sister, Judith X. Risch; and brother, Michael Risch.
Memorial contributions can be made in his name to: Mass Wildlife Fund (Wildlands Fund), c/o Mass Div. of Fisheries and Wildlife, Commonwealth of Mass or the American Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
A memorial service will be held from 1p-4p on Saturday, July 21 at the First Parish Brewster Unitarian Church, 1 Harwich Road, Brewster, MA 02631.
