She was the eighth child of Ethel Tettamble and Elmer Williams. Diana was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. She met Philip, her husband of 54 years, when he was stationed in Texas with the Air Force. Upon his discharge, they moved to Brewster where they married and raised their family. Diana took great pride in raising their three children and caring for their many pets. She was a great hostess, a talented knitter, loved to travel with her daughter and fish with her sons. Before she enjoyed a long career as a manager at Citizens Bank, Diana worked for many years beside her husband at the family business, Phil’s automotive. During both careers she formed many friendships with her coworkers and the town’s people that she served.
She leaves behind her husband Philip and three loving children, Sara and Stephen Valentino, Bart and Susan Tubman, Peter Tubman and Melissa Ricciardi, her cherished granddaughters, Victoria and Isabella Valentino and many nieces and nephews in St. Louis and Brewster. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that a donation in her name be made to the Brewster Animal Rescue League 3981 Main St. Route 6A Brewster MA 02631.
