Elaine M. Boyd, 80, of North Eastham died Friday at her home.

Born in Pittsfield, Mass., on June 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Marie and Roland Archambault. She was a graduate of St Joseph High School.

While in Pittsfield, she worked at a local bank and was active in the VFW Auxiliary. After moving to Cape Cod nearly 35 years ago, she continued employment in banking and then Eastham Township. She was an active member of the Elks.

Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Glenn Boyd, and her son, Kenneth Masoero of Pittsfield. She leaves behind her other two sons, Robert Masoero of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and David Boyd of Hinsdale, Massachusetts, and her brother Paul Archambault of Dalton, Massachusetts, as well as five grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 3 to 6 PM at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans, Massachusetts, ending with a brief memorial ceremony by the local Elks lodge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Elks National Foundation in care of the funeral home or the Eastham-Orleans Elks Lodge No 2572, 10 McKoy Road, Eastham, MA 02642.
