One of many who loved Betsy, I’ll always remember and treasure the fun times, the friendships, and the ‘trouble’ the entire ‘Hairy Navel Club’ shared in our youths.
I miss those days and you.

I ran into Betsy at the store about a year ago, I hadn't seen her in 30 or so years. She recognized me right away. I remember the aura portraits in her house and her round tarot deck. She was my introduction to trusting ones intuition and believing in myself in that way. I carved my own path into metaphysics soon after meeting Betsy and I have become a natural at manifestation, and reading. Betsy's intro played a big part. She remembered how my family took Sarah on vacation and asked to see the photos. I never got them to her due to a move and found her obituary when I tried to find her instead. She was a bright shiny star on earth as above, just dust & light. Blessed be, may the family find peace, Betsy had peace.

I came across Betsy's obituary by accident and am so very sad to read of her passing. We met in Lamaze class in 1977- Bets carrying Sarah & myself my oldest, Chris. We became fast friends, met for play dates often with the kids when they were little. We kept in touch off & on thru the years, & would always pick up where we left off. She was a fantastic person -one in a million. May her memory bring a smile to your face before it brings a tear to your eye. I'll miss you, Bets.

I remember Betsy well from the 1980s. She facilitated spiritual groups in Brewster and had her own gift store. I learned a lot from her. She always had one foot on the "other" side, definitely aligned with saints, spiritual beings and God. I learned so much.
She was very gifted.
Joyful and radiant. I am so sorry for your loss.

Elizabeth was my neighbor at Rock Harbor Village. No matter my problems, she always cheered me up with her positive attitude and deep love of nature, the water, and God's creatures.
She loved her family so. The delight in her voice when talking about them, was so effusive. I always told her we were blessed to have loving relationships with our children and grandchildren.
We were kindred spirits in a way. Bohemian instincts and an appreciation of simple beauty. I visited her with a couple of her neighbors recently and she was determined to give us some of her favorite clothing (she always looked so dapper.) We had a great time in her bedroom as she rifled through her closet, laughing like teenaged girls and joking around about our body issues.
This lady was genuine. I will miss her but take solace in knowing she was in the care of her beloved family.

Me deepest condolences for you during this very difficult time.
Betsy and I have known each other since we were 16, working at the Cinnamon Stick in Pawtucket. We have been in and out of each other’s lives since then.
My heart aches for all of you.
Betsy was a wonderful , compassionate friend, with a love for life, a fighter.
Have I told you lately… special words between us.
