Please accept my sincere condolences. 73 years ago Betty became my godmother. My mother, Olga Young, and Betty were school mates in Bayside. Betty was actually my mother’s first friend when my mother emigrated from Hungary in the 30’s. We have kept in contact periodically for all these years, through cards and phone calls. She was such a loving, caring woman who will be sorely missed.

Betty was a warm and welcoming spirit. She was always full of life and love and laughter. I have fond memories of her swimming in the pool at the Colony... determined to be as active as she could. I also enjoyed her company at numerous get-togethers with Betty and my Mum at the Terraces. I am so glad I had a chance to know her. She will be missed. My sincerest condolences.

I loved chatting with her when she called for rides. She was such a good, friendly person, with a great sense of humor. My condolences to you, Joan, and to your family.
