Hector J. Pelletier

Hector J. Pelletier passed away on November 4, 2023, following a brief illness. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, Hector was born on June 15, 1931, to Alice Dionne Pelletier and Hector Louis Pelletier, and was raised in East Hartford, CT. Following service in the US Air Force, he enjoyed a successful career as a construction manager. Hector married the love of his life, Therese E. Pelletier, in 1956 and together they raised their family in Suffield, CT, before retiring to Cape Cod.

For the past twenty-five years Hector lived his dream life in South Orleans, close to family and beloved ocean beaches. A man of endless curiosity and varied interests, he enjoyed wood carving, bird watching, tending his bountiful vegetable and flower gardens, and playing piano.

Above all Hector, aka Pepere, was a loving and cherished family man who filled the lives of those around him with his great warmth, spirit and humor.

In addition to his wife, Therese, Hector leaves a brother, Paul Pelletier, of Bloomfield, CT, children Gregory Pelletier (Tammy) of Olympia, WA, Steven Pelletier (Terri) of Scituate, MA, and Carole Ridley (Scott) of East Harwich, and grandchildren Stephanie and Christina Pelletier, and Evan, Colin and Trevor Ridley. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert J. Pelletier.
