Jackalyn “Jackie” J. Courchesne, 79, of Brewster, MA, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was born to the late Henry “Babe” and Della “Ciolkosz” Blevins on September 11, 1944, in Taunton, MA.
Jackie graduated from Taunton High School and continued her education at Northeastern University, Boston, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. From there, she accepted an internship at the New York Public Library in Manhattan. After several years of working in New York, she moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where she worked for a well-known bank. Later, she held a position as the Executive Director for the Brewster Housing Authority until her retirement.
Jackie was fun and feisty and enjoyed martinis and special times with friends, making memories with “The Cupcakes”, spending fun times with family, clamming, crabbing, gardening, and enjoying the Cape Cod lifestyle. She was the proud Cat Mom to Tabitha, Emma, Jack, Samantha and Andrew. They were her world.
