James A. Reinhold, 81, of Eastham, Massachusetts, died on May 11th after a long illness. Jim had previously resided in Hopewell Junction, NY, and was employed as an electrical engineer for IBM for 34 years. He was educated in Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from Brooklyn Tech. He was our "you-break-it-I-fix-it" man and enjoyed boating, fishing, and home improvement. He was known for his dry sense of humor, and loved pranking his kids and sharing a "fact of the day". Jim was proud of his Swedish heritage.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or Broad Reach Hospice (Checks sent to: 390 Orleans Road, North Chatham, MA 02650). Celebration of Life will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 25th at the Eastham United Methodist Church, 3200 State Hwy, Eastham, MA.

I was only fortunate to have met Jim once, that was at Karen and Dwayne`s wedding. I never really knew him but I do know and love his wonderful daughter Karen and his beautiful grandchildren Nicole and Evan.
Being the father of Karen I know he must have been a wonderful man and father. Karen is an exceptional young lady who would make any father more than proud.
God Bless all of you for your loss, please know I will be keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Jim was absolutely the "fix-it" man with a very analytical mind. I will miss all the talks we had about how to repair things during visits. He had a great sense of dry humor and often made me laugh. I'll miss that smile. I know this is an incredibly difficult time for everyone and it's been a tough week. Jim will be missed by all.
