Jeanne C. Carosella, 71, of The Woodlands, Brewster, MA (formerly of Eastham, MA) passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. She was the daughter of the late J. Burton and Elsie A. Conlin. Jeanne was born in Boston in 1946 and later resided in Eastham where she attended Nauset schools from middle school through high school. She then attended Becker Junior College in Worcester, MA, and went on to get married and raise her family in Fairport, NY and later, in Clarkston, MI. Upon Jeanne’s return to the Cape, she worked for many years at Nauset Regional Middle School as an Educational Assistant. Jeanne enjoyed living on the Outer Cape and spending time with friends in Wellfleet and Eastham, as well as visiting her children and grandchildren, especially at the holidays. When we remember our mom, we think of her love for the local Cape Cod culture, the National Seashore, her appreciation of nature and her kindness toward others. She has passed all of this on to us, and for that we are grateful.
Jeanne leaves behind her son, David Carosella, his wife, Rebecca, and their children, Marly and Jillian, all of Rochester, MI; her daughter, Nancy Carter, her husband Gregory, and their children, Dane and Jay, all of Concord, MA. She also leaves behind many cousins and her longtime girlfriends from high school.
We’d like to thank her wonderful team of caregivers, including her doctor at Dana Farber, the staff at The Woodlands, and the nurses and aides from Beacon Hospice. There are no immediate services planned.
Gifts in the memory of Jeanne can be made to the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore http://fccns.org/donate.html.
