John Lawrence Bresnahan known as "Jack" veteran of the Korean War died at his Cape Cod home surrounded by his beloved animals and daughter Bronwyn. An electrical engineer who owned his own business known as JLB Engineering formerly of Framingham, Massachusetts. A devoted father and loving husband. His wife Margaret Gill Bresnahan predeceased John in 2002. Our family were avid travelers. Jack was involved in the ballet world where he constructed a dance studio for his wife known as The Framingham Dance Centre for the Performing Arts. He had great joy constructing scenery for all the performances, and assisting in all matters regarding the studio.
John loved Cape Cod and sailed, fished, and scratched for clams as often as he could. Cape Cod is where he met his wife Margaret known as Peggie. Both had a great love for their Thoroughbred show horses, and later in life they became involved in purebred dogs. Peggie's dream was owning Champion French Bulldogs. Jack and Bronwyn created Back Of The Moon French Bulldogs in her memory. Jack took an active role and had great joy raising many French Bulldog puppies.
We would like to thank everyone at Hope hospice for their guidance, support, and love during this difficult time. As well a all the friends and volunteers who helped our family.
My parents would prefer if you treat yourself to something nice, or something that you enjoy in their memory. If you choose to make a memorial donation in lieu if that any donation can be made to Canine Health Foundation akcchf.org or Take The Lead at takethelead.org
Graveside service is open to all taking place at 11:30a on November 17, 2014 at Bourne National Cemetery where Jack and Peggie will be laid to rest together.
