John A. Maden
July 28, 1935 – September 9, 2013
Maden, John A., 78, of Brewster. Entered into rest on Sept. 9, 2013. John leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Linda (Precourt) Maden of Brewster, his three devoted children: Valerie Maden of Tucson, AZ, Jonathan Maden, and Andrew Maden both of Attleboro and his dear brother George Maden and his wife Barbara of NH, and sister, Barbara Davis of TX. He was the cherished grandfather of Alexander, Schaelin, and Ciarra and the loving uncle of Christopher, Jason, Nicole, Emily, Keith, and Barry; all of whom held a special place in his heart. John, better known as “Jack”, faced many medical challenges through the years and fought courageously to the end. Jack was a proud member of the Army and Army Air Force during the time between the Korean and Vietnam wars. He had a lifelong passion for all cars old and new, loved traveling the open road with his wife, and spending many summers vacationing at Willoughby Lake, VT. He will truly be missed by many.
