Judy was born to the late Paul and M. Dorothy Burke in Cambridge, MA on March 16, 1948. She graduated from Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in 1967 and received a BS from Boston University Sargent College in 1971. She married Bud Jensen in 1991 and they lived together in Brewster and Framingham, MA with their loving daughter Suzanne, who was born and adopted as an infant from Paraguay in 1989.
Judy retired as a physical therapist after 35 years from Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She was a devout Catholic, an avid cook and knitter, a great friend, a golfer, skier, world traveler, and she loved Cape Cod, but most of all she was a devoted and loving mother to the love of her life, Suzanne.
Judy was an active member of Nauset Newcomers, Brewster Historical Society, and the Captains and Blue Rock golf courses. She was a proud alum and counselor at Cape Cod Sea Camps and The Crosby Mansion. She volunteered for the Museum of Natural History and the Cobb House Museum.
She was also proud of her accomplishment of one of the rarest shots in golf, a hole-in-one on a par 4 hole during a tournament in Plymouth, MA.
Judy took many world trips, principally with her husband, Bud. She especially loved Italy, France, Israel, Scandinavia, and Australia.
Judy is survived by Suzanne and Bud, plus step-children Steve and Kristin with four step-grandchildren, niece Sarah, sister-in-law Cathy, cousin Joan, and Godchildren Maggie, Christine, and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, Judy requested donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
