She was born in Nyack, New York, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Leone) Logiodice. She was married to her late husband, Thomas Mullen for 61 years. They lived in Bergen County, New Jersey until 1972 when they built a home and life in Brewster, MA.
She was an avid gardener who always shared her knowledge,homemade pickles and grape and beach plum jelly .She was a skilled lifelong knitter and never let a grand or great grand baby go without a hat or sweater. She was also an accomplished wool rug braider. Her hands moved effortlessly from her first rug to her last this past year. You could often find her volunteering at the church thrift shop.
Most of all she was a no nonsense godly woman who cherished her family and her beloved pets.
She is survived by her five children, Patricia Lackwitz of NH, Thomas Mullen of NC, Richard Mullen of NJ, Russell Mullen of Harwich, MA, and Mary Maher of Orleans, MA. She has 8 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She will join her husband at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
As she loved her rescued pets dearly, if desired, donations may be made in her honor to The Animal Rescue League of Boston, or to the organization of your choice.
