Kathryn Beryl Colson

Kathryn Beryl Colson (known to friends as Kay) Brewster, Massachusetts died peacefully on August 6, 2025. Kay was 99 years old. Kay was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Wilfred I Colson (Bill) married for 74 glorious years.

Kay was born to the late Leon and Pauline Odlin on March 26, 1926, in Gardner, MA and retiring in Harwich, MA.

Kay is survived by three children Kelsa Morrill and her husband Jim of Canton MA, Leon Colson and his wife Joanne of Brewster MA and Thomas Colson and his wife Mari of Harwich MA. Kay is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kelsa Coker and her wife Lisa Greenberg of Pompano Beach, FL, Kristy Rosse and her husband Peter of Millbrook NY, Zachary Colson of San Diego CA, Jake Colson of Boston MA, Noah Colson of Boston MA, Melissa Colson of Lake Worth FL and Kimberly, Johnson of Falmouth MA. Kay was blessed with seven great grandchildren KC, Jojo, Maarten, Derick, Bretton, Liliana and Max.

Kay grew up in Shrewsbury MA. After graduating high school, she entered then graduated from nursing school at the Worcester City Hospital in 1945. Kay married her high school sweetheart Bill Colson in 1948. Together they raised three beautiful and loving children in Shrewsbury, MA. In retirement, they moved to Brewster MA. Kay and Wilfred loved to travel and traveled extensively during their retirement. In Brewster they happily lived for over 40 years. Kay had many interests golf, painting, and spending time at Sheep Pond, walking the Brewster Flats and spending time with family.
