My earliest memory of Lillian was the summer evening she babysat for me when I was 9 and she was 17. She had asked if she could wash her hair while she was here; as I watched her, I thought how pretty she was. Afterward, we sat outside while her hair dried; then we came in and watched TV. I've always remembered that pleasant evening and Lil's kindness. My sincere condolences to all the family.
