Lois Adelle Mellen

Lois Adele Mellen of Brewster MA died January 16 at home after a long illness. She was 83 years old. Lois was born March 8, 1938 in Bronx New York and was the oldest daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Hirschhorn. She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Nancy. She leaves behind her older daughter Deborah Wegeleben, son-in-law Scott and her sister Judy Cook. Lois was a talented potter and wood carver. When she wasn’t creating art she was crafting some new healthy recipe in the kitchen for everyone to sample. She will be missed.
