Well Mom, I am sitting in our favorite spot at 5 am as usual.The coffee is brewing and the Cove is calm. I have time before your birds come for their breakfast and am writing this as I know you are listening as sure as the sun will rise.           Now with the coffee ready and tears flowing, I sit alone waiting to the sound of Miss Daisy's slippers coming down the hall. Your, asking if the boy's are up.Sitting and talking about anything and everything. I suppose I never realized how much it would hurt when this time came.    My Mom, my best friend, my world. Your beautiful home by the Sea suddenly feels so empty.You had said when your time came you didn't want any sadness, and you know I would do anything in the world for you that you asked, yet this I am failing at.  They say to look back at the good times to ease the pain, yet all the times you, the munchkins and I spent together were the best.                                        So as the sun is rising, I start a new life. Hoping the strength you had will somehow come to me to carry on. You are were the world to me Mom.
