by family at the age of 67.
Mark was born to the late John and Louise Vincent in Hartford, CT on May 19, 1954. He
grew up in Simsbury, CT where he attended school at Simsbury High School and Avon
Old Farms. He married Sandra Leslie Vincent on his birthday in 1979. The two
relocated to Cape Cod in 1975, living in Chatham and Eastham before building their
forever home together and with their son Brian in 1991.
Mark was a dedicated worker and spent a total of 24 years working for Barnstable
County. Throughout his tenure, he worked for the Town of Barnstable, the Town of
Orleans, and ultimately served as the Public Works Director for the Town of Wellfleet.
He loved music, sports, and was a drummer for several bands in his younger years. He
never missed a concert by his favorite band, NRBQ. His sense of humor was second to
none and he could always find the silver lining in everything.
In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian
Vincent and Rebecca Pinsky, and granddaughter, Sadie Vincent of Mansfield, MA. He
is also survived by his brother, John Vincent, and wife Nancy of Orleans. He is
predeceased by his brother, Paul T. Vincent. He will be greatly missed by his dog,
Ozzie and his many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends who all added so much
to his life.
