Martha A. Jones

Martha was born on December 30, 1921 in Wildwood, NJ. She graduated from Glassboro State College with a Bachelor of Science in education. She taught elementary school in Wildwood, and Daretown , NJ . Upon retirement in 1983 she and her husband moved to Brewster , MA . She was a devout member of the Brewster Baptist Church where she joined the Women’s Fellowship and Widow’s Might. She was chairman of the Women’s Fellowship for the Brewster Baptist Church Fundraiser Fairs. She loved teaching Sunday School and Bible School . In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, knitting, sewing, and baking.

She is survived by her cousin, Kathryn Gallagher, her children, Dennis Jones and wife Jan of Atlanta, GA, Randy Jones, and wife Lorna of Toms Rivers, NJ, Barbara Jones and husband Andrew Winick of Baltimore, MD, and five grandchildren.

Her service was held at the Brewster Baptist Church , Brewster. She is buried in Orleans Cemetery , Orleans , MA .
