I wanted to pay my sincere respects to Mike and his family and to let you know how much I enjoyed getting to know your father, husband and dear friend. I worked with Mike in his 2nd career at Cumberland Farms, and he defined the word gentleman. I couldn't understand one would give so much- so willingly, and have the stamina to keep at all that Mike did.
I saw him last within the year and followed him out of the Brewster store to say hello. We shared a few chuckles over different prior circumstances; I met him on his move to the Cape full time and transferring here with Cumberland Farms. He always treated me special, and I feel honored to have known him.
My sincere sympathies to you all- and please know how fondly he was regarded here on the Cape. I see from the condolences, I join a fellowship that knew him similarly. Respectfully, Rick Boyle

We worked with Mike for many years in his "2nd" career at Cumberland Farms. He was a great and loyal friend who was kind to so many people and he would do anything for us. We shared many laughs and have wonderful memories. Like the cars he loved, he was a classic.
