Mimsy was one of the sweetest woman I've ever known. She reminded me of my own mom. There was never an unkind word, and always a quiet strength whenever we conversed. One of those persons who lived her faith and put the spirit in the Church of the Holy Spirit.

I met Mim in 2004 at the Peace and Justice Committtee of the Church of the Holy Spirit. I had just retired to Orleans where I had been ordained a priest in 1969! Mim was 20 years my senior and she showed me that one never retires from being an advocate for those in need in the name of Jesus!

Grandma you are an amazing woman of faith who loved, encouraged and served your family, friends and community. You loved Jesus and lived a life of grace. Though I will miss you I can think of no better place for you than in the presence of The Lord. I love you!
