

Brewster- Olive Cornelia Giroux Henry, affectionately known as Dottie to her family and friends, was called to her Heavenly home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday, November 8, 2013 surrounded by members of her loving family.
Born in Boston on February 10, 1918, she spent her childhood years in Duxbury, Orleans, and Williamstown, MA, graduating from Williamstown High School in the class of 1936. Her deep New England roots and heritage made her a venerable Yankee.
Dottie was a long time resident of Orleans and spent her married life and beyond being the heart and soul of her ever growing family. Her servant’s spirit, faith in God, love for His creation and commitment to family, friends, and country made her a shining example of the best of the Greatest Generation.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar of 61 years and her son Richard. She is survived by her daughters: MaryAnne Clavette and husband Bruce of ME and Elizabeth Biathrow and husband L. Scott of Orleans, grandchildren: Donna Bassett, Karen Skurla, Richard Henry, II, Elizabeth Ollivier, Paul Ollivier, II, Sara Nadeau, Matthew Clavette, Amy Hood, Scott Biathrow; great-grandchildren: Ryan and Matthew Bassett, David and Lindsey Whitten, Christopher, Zachary and Alexander Ollivier, Ryan Nadeau, Benjamin and Nathan Hood, Callum and Mia ;Biathrow; and great-great grandchildren: Jessica and Mackenzie Ollivier. She is also survived by her sister, Marie Pearl of Orleans and Albuquerque, NM and her brother Peter Hansen of Las Vegas, NV, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dottie was a faithful member for over thirty years of the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church, Brewster. A memorial service will be held at the Brewster Baptist Church, Route 6A, Brewster at 10:00am on Saturday, November 23, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the New Building Fund of the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church, 3600 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631. Burial is private.
