

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia C. Cheney of Eastham, Ma. She passed peacefully in her sleep. She was 80 years old. Patricia was the daughter of Lillian Brady and John F. Brady. Patricia was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on March 16, 1944 and grew up on a farm in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.
She enjoyed riding and jumping hurdles with her horse Lucky. She later attended college at the Elms in
Chicopee, Massachusetts. She met and married James Cheney and had a son Frederick Cheney. They bought the Colony Motel in Whately, Massachusetts where they worked hard, and enjoyed family and
friends, and their German Shepard dogs.
They retired to Eastham, Massachusetts, to a home built by their son Frederick, of Cheney Construction Brewster, Massachusetts.
She leaves behind her son Frederick and his wife Dolly of Brewster, her grandson Vincent Cheney,
his wife Rebecca, and a their new daughter Faye Cheney of Justin, Texas. She also leaves behind a grandson James Cheney of Romania, a brother Joseph Brady and his wife Debra of West Springfield, Ma., a sister Suzanne Provost of Chicopee, Ma., along with several nieces and nephews.
