Predeceased by sisters Marilyn and Ellen Francke. He leaves behind his devoted wife Louise V. (Tinsley) Francke of 55 years; five children Lisa (Francke) Simpson, Eric W. Francke, Andrea L. Francke, Barbara E. Francke and Claire M. (Francke) Radke; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and so many more loved ones that were such a big part of his life.
After completing high school from Worcester Tech he joined the United States Marine Corp in 1947 where he served as Sergeant until 1951, specializing in radio message router and was metaled as a sharp shooter.
He had always worked in the construction industry. He started as a brick mason in Worcester, MA and in 1979 started his own construction company in Eastham, MA “Peter Francke & Son Construction” now known as “Francke Construction”.
His passions in life were many: boating and fishing, flying airplanes, treasure hunting and wood working were just a few. He was a big fan of the Bruins and the Patriots. He had an appreciation for the finer things in life. However, his most precious passion in life was his family.
So to honor him, his family will be holding a Mass for friends and family on Friday, March 27 at 10 AM at Saint Joan of Arc in Orleans, MA.
He will be missed dearly by all and will be forever in our hearts.
