Phyllis Alfieri

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother Phyllis Alfieri (age 92) who passed into eternal life in the presence of her heavenly father on June 25th, 2023. Her profound love for her husband, children & grandchildren will leave an indelible mark on our hearts. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent of 67 years & survived by her much-loved children & grandchildren & their spouses. Phyllis Mary (Parker), Brenda Ann (Jody) Stowe, Vincent Kevin, and Kenneth John. And her adored grandchildren; Chrissy (Shelby) O'Hara, Kendra, Jake (Allison) Stowe, Jarett, Alex (Ben) Alfieri. Max, Mallory, Monica, and Kenneth (Sarah) Alfieri.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Phyllis graduated from St. Agnes Seminary and the Washington School for Secretaries. She & Vince moved frequently with Dow Chemical, during which time she worked various medical assistant jobs.

One of her great passions in life was cooking. She was known by family & friends as a gourmet cook & one of her greatest joys in life was having large family dinners. These are memories we will forever hold in our heart. She also had a great love for reading, boating, clamming & fishing.

She & Vince were members of Our Lady of Lourdes church where she was a eucharistic minister.

Her unwavering faith in Jesus & immense joy in nurturing & supporting her family was evident in how she poured her heart & soul into the lives of each one of us.

As a mother, she instilled in her children the value of kindness, selflessness, & the importance of love & embracing others with open arms.

Her legacy lives on through her children & grandchildren who carry forward the lessons she taught us through example. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Please join the family in celebrating Phyllis' life on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 2282 US-6, Wellfleet, MA 02667, followed by a committal service at Evergreen Cemetery, Eastham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes, P.O Box 1414, Wellfleet, Ma 02667 or the charity of your choice.
