Pira Frosina Christo

January 30, 1963August 25, 2021

Pira Frosina Christo passed away on 25 August 2021 at age 58 at home, after a grueling six-year battle with breast cancer. The most important thing in Piraโ€™s life was her family who were by her side, along with her beloved rescue fur-babies, in her final days. She is survived by her two daughters, Gabrielle Elizabeth McCully and Alexandra Marika McCully, both of Eastham. She loved her girls above all else and was so proud of them. Pira was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Pira will be remembered as a devoted mother and an avid animal lover with a quick wit and a huge sense of fun who fought cancer with grace and courage all the way. She graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Communications and earned her Masters Degree at Emerson College in Mass Communications and Media. After Pira moved to Cape Cod to raise her girls, she became a Special Education Instructional Aide & Assistive Technology Specialist at Chatham High School and Cape Cod Regional Technical High School. She loved her job at Tech and especially working with teens to help them build a brighter future. Pira requested a celebration of life be held as opposed to traditional funeral services. We invite all of Piraโ€™s loved ones to join us in celebrating her life at Cookโ€™s Brook Beach in Eastham at a future date to be determined.

Pira brought her signature kind and gracious presence to every class we shared. Patient, intuitive and protective, she proved to be an absolutely fearless advocate for our students. She will always be carried in the hearts and memories of all those to whom her positive spirit and natural generosity brought hope, comfort and promise.
Brave. Beautiful. Unforgettable.

I was so glad to reunite with Pira 5 years ago, after not seeing her since High School! She was a hot ticket back then and never changed up until the end. Sweet and kind, with an edge of Rock 'n Roll, she was loved by all who knew her. I will miss speaking , texting her and making those plans to come visit on her beloved beach. The world is a lot dimmer without her here. My deepest sympathies are with her girls and her family. Love forever.๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒท

Prayers, love, and condolences to ALL.
I worked at Cape Tech with Pira, we were in the "lunch bunch" together. Pira was so patient when helping the students. Words escape me because this is so sad. I am so sorry for our loss! Heaven gained an angel truly!

Thinking of you all at this time. Pira was one of the strongest people I've ever known, a true inspiration to everyone who knew her or knew of her. God bless your beautiful soul Pira, may you be at peace, chilling without any more pain on a beach in heaven.

Dear Christo Family,
Pira was my son, Liam Campbell's one to one aide at CC Tech for his Freshman and Sophomore year. She was a delight and kind to Liam and was always supportive and helpful with his in class learning. I was very saddened to hear of her passing. Liam is a strong, mature and independent adult because of Pira. I send my deepest condolences to you, her family and others she knew. Be at peace Pira. You will be missed by many.
With fond memories and love,
