Ralph (Sonny) A. Perreault passed away peacefully at his home, February 14, 2019. Born January 3, 1935 he was the loving son of the late Ralph W. Perreault and Beatrice (Felt) Perreault Ferriera. He will be missed by his wife, Patricia (Tricia) M. Perreault as well as his daughters, Lorraine Shamma (Steve) of Port Charlotte, FL, Terri-Ann Krakowiak (Daniel) of Gibsonia, PA and his blended family of Mitzi Daley (Paul) and Casey Thomas (Shelly) of Brewster, MA. He also leaves a sister, Vivian Pike in Bridgton, ME and his grandchildren Daniel E. Krakowiak, Dean R. Krakowiak, Jerry Wright, Catherine Fisher, Randy Wright and Ryan Burt. As well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Constance Clark.
Sonny was an extremely hard worker from a young age and a successful business owner. He came from a family that owned local businesses such as the Ship Ahoy, now the Land Ho as well as the Cape Cod Village now Laurinos. His own business ventures included excavation, joining with N.A. Nickerson for a time as Nickerson and Perreault, owning and operating Whispering Pines Service Center from the early 1960’s to the mid 1980’s. He also owned the Brewster Mobil Station for many years as well as part owner of JT’s Restaurant in Brewster. He was an entrepreneur in the Real Estate Market. Sonny guided and encouraged many young people to continue their education, start a business or buy a home. A mentor to many. Sonny enjoyed traveling with his wife Tricia as well as with family and friends. Together for many years they wintered as snow birds in Port Charlotte, FL. He also enjoyed spending time up north on “The Cold River Farm” puttering on the tractors, mowing and doing a little farming as well.
Sonny was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was kind, thoughtful and generous. He was loved and adored by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 22, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday February 23, 2019 at 11 am at Brewster Baptist, 1848 Main St, Brewster, MA. Burial at Orleans Cemetery.
