
Born to John and Ruth Alexander in Holden, MA on August 22, 1954, Ron is survived by his wife of 39 years Jane, his boys and their wives, Jon and Jennifer Clark of Orleans, Josh and Jamie Alexander of Eastham, Jeremy Clark of Texas and unofficially adopted son Erik Oliver of Orleans as Ron was well known to have opened his home and heart to many over the years.
Memories of Ron will persevere through the hearts and minds of his grandchildren Chloe Clark, John and Jackson Alexander and Courtney and Caitlyn Clark.
As graduate of Nauset High School and Eastham’s first Eagle Scout, Ron also completed paramedic training at Cape Cod Community College to become Eastham’s first firefighter/paramedic. Having left the department as a Lt. Inspector, Ron returned to the family construction business where a decade later, a storied commercial construction career as a superintendent and project manager began. Highlighting a diverse and lengthy resume was Ron’s time with Dewitt Davenport and the late Paul McBride of the Davenport Companies.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday September 3rd between 4 and 8 p.m. at the Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans. A service will be held at the Eastham Methodist Church on Rte. 6 Thursday September 4th at 2 p.m..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eastham Rescue Squad or the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at 450 Brooklyn Ave Boston, MA 02215.
