Ronald E. Reed passed away October 4, 2019 at his Orleans home surrounded by his family. Born March 3, 1939 in Waterbury, CT he was the middle son of Edgar A. Reed and Lillian S. Reed. He was a graduate of Terryville High School, class of '57 and the school of hard knocks.

Boating was a lifelong enjoyment especially aboard the "Lyncris". Spending a week or two captaining pleasure boats with his friends in the BVI was a vacation highlight for years. I worked with Ron for 20 years at Stephen’s. I must say he really was a terrific guy. I was new to the business of selling cars and he was always available to help me with my customers service needs. I missed him terribly when he left us.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I've known Ronnie for close to 60 years. We have become the best of friends over the years. He was always there for us whenever, or wherever. we needed him. He treated Alice & I, and Ingrid & Leah like family. He is also Leah's godfather. We will always cherish the great memories of going to the beach, either by boat or by our trucks, and the cookouts and gatherings of family and friends. Our sincerest condolences to Linda & Christopher, and family.
His cherished memory will forever be in our hearts and minds. R.I.P. old friend, until we meet again. We love you and miss you Ron.

Linda & Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fun memories of Ronnie. Lake Champlain boat rides, fireworks, Rouses Point, NY parades , my partner playing the organ at the little brown church across from the restaurant and many great times at the Cape. May he rest in peace and sending prayers to you and Chris at this difficult time.

Ronnie was a great guy who will be sadly missed by all who was his friend. I remember a time a few of his friends from Stephen's went to visit him and his family at the Cape and he took us on the dunes in his vehicle and we spent some fun times in Provincetown and at his home with his wife Linda and son Christopher. We had many laughs and it was a wonderful visit we will never forget. My condolences to Ronnie's family!
